A great warrior, born wearing divine armour, walked on earth during the Dwapara Yuga five thousand years ago. Admired for his bravery, courage and generosity, the warrior was subjected to numerous humiliations, fought against misfortune his entire life. It was only after his death that he achieved what he wanted most: everlasting honour.
In modern times, the life and world of a young lad turn upside down as the truth about his birth and his destiny is revealed. The Armour of God, the first book in The Chakra Trilogy, narrates the tale of 'The Protector', born to protect the most powerful weapon ever known to mankind from falling into the hands of creatures who could wipe humans off the face of the Earth; creatures that belonged to a race that seeks universal dominance and revenge from the Gods who drove them away from the Earth five thousand years ago.
The book not only intends to raise questions, but also provide possible explanations to long unresolved mysteries. It attempts to provide a historical, and a scientific perspective to what is often referred to as Indian Mythology. The Armour of God is an effort which combines Science and Fantasy to clear the web of misplaced beliefs that have infiltrated and drenched the fabric of our modern thought.

We are full of follies, this is true. Our lives are no less full of trifles. We only perceive the most blazing, most glittering objects around us molding our senses that are still unaccustomed. We are thrilled, warmed and frightful of fire. We turn into poets, we burn in it, we find love, and we roast our fallen heart on it.
But Smoke from a matchstick?
It stays there, always there as an actual end of the beginning. The burned matchstick is deformed and, altering itself forms smoke.
Soumodip Mukherji was born in Calcutta and is a designer based in Darjeeling. Matchstick Smoke is his first book of poetry. While writing Matchstick Smoke he came across works by Charles Bukowski, Frank O' Hara, and other great poets of the 20th century which influenced his writing immensely.

This book is a collaborative effort that describes the various crafts of India through the eyes of travelers, many of who are from outside India, and all of who are craftspersons in their own right. Craft tours to various parts of India have been organized by Indebo over the last three decades, and most of them were escorted by the editors of the book.
In part a travelogue and in part memoirs, this book is unique in cataloguing various indigenous arts and crafts in the country. Accompanied by maps and photographs, this provides an unusual empathetic, intimate, and personal view of the crafts of India.
The editors - known to their friends as Malathi and Rama - founded the travel company Indebo India in December 1979. Malathi started her career in tourism as a guide in New Delhi in 1962, and N. Ramaswamy retired from the Indian army in 1977. Indebo India has specialized in the inbound tour sector, and has actively promoted crafts tours since 1984.

Cyriac Varghese, originally from Kerala, grew up in Mumbai. Born in 1989, his childhood was typical of the 80's during which some of the best cartoons were on air. His took his first steps towards making art by sketching out the characters of cartoon shows such as He-Man, TNT, Tom & Jerry and the Flintstones, during the wee hours of the morning. Although he initially began to pursue graphic design, he later changed lanes and began writing. He later attended a course in creative writing conducted by the British Council in Delhi. Singing and art are two passions that run in his family. Whether vocals or illustrations, they are both molded by his fascination of mysticism. He thoroughly enjoys long jam sessions and now hopes of forming a band. His vocals tend to be loud and experimental but also at times eerie and ambient, which led to his study of the Basuri (Indian classical flute). His art is highly intuitive and always done without any reference, thus allowing a natural flow. He has also been an active basketball player in school and has played for the three schools he has attended, for two clubs and for the district of Mumbai, South East.
'Rastafa and the Magic Light' began life as a college assignment. This is the first time that the author has attempted to construct a story, a visual for children. The book was written and illustrated within a week's time. At the end of it, the look and feel of the visual narrative took on a crude style. It is a style the author has decided to stick with owing to the fact that it complements the fable-like character of the story. The author hopes the reader will enjoy this short adventure which is not without its underlying message.

Hi, I am an accidental entrepreneur. I started my first company at the age of 25 even though just a year before that, I was quite sure that starting a company would pretty much be the last thing that I would do. In fact, three years before I started, I had been preparing for the civil services exam!
I don't know when and how this thought occurred to me; I wish I could say that I was selling T-shirts in college, but that would be wrong. In fact, there is no so-called "business gene" present in my DNA though I actually did become a business person in 1996.
Anyway, I worked on a startup, failed, did another, failed again, and then started one more, which I eventually sold in a six-year time frame, from start to finish. In entrepreneurial parlance, I became successful exactly 10 years after I started my first company and could extract enough value from the startup that I sold to financially liberate myself from the cycle of "work-leisure."
The book that you are about to read could have also been called "Conversations and Friendship," as that is basically what it is about. I preferred to call it "Flying Business Class" as to me,moments are what define life. FBC is about the seven-year journey of a first-time entrepreneur and flyingBusiness Classis that special moment in his journey. It is a story about the struggles and triumphs along the curved roads. Though written infirst person,it is NOT an autobiography andthe characters and situations are entirely products of my imagination. As it is my first book, I have obviously picked a topic inspired by the journey that I have had over the last decade.
My current day job is to engage with and evaluate first-time entrepreneurs whomwe could invest in or mentor, or both, for "MyFirstCheque," a seed fund that I founded a couple of years ago along with two friends.Apart from this I write, read, follow up on new ideas, and play with my kids on a regular basis!
Basically, I live pretty much the way I want to.What I treasure most is the freedom that has come to me after the risks I took many years ago and persisted with, even though common sensemight have prompted me to give up and change my path. It is the freedom that money brings, along with the confidence that I am able to create value from scratch that makes me now live-at 40-the way I used to as a child-with sheer joy and insatiable curiosity.
As a student in Warren G Tracy's class put it,"Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life as most people won't, so that you can spend the rest of your life as most people can't."

The relationship between man & woman is a crucial one for the welfare of the individual, family & society. Most conflicts, crimes, and social problems revolve around this relationship. A man-woman relationship is central to human civilization. Irrespective of race, religion or culture, this relationship has always set various norms, rules, and traditions. While different conditions do influence relationships, certain basic patterns remain universal. The focus of this book is to unveil the similarities between men and women that join to form the basis of man-woman relationships. Differences based on culture, religion and social structure are equally important to the foundation of a relationship, but since they vary from place to place, they are beyond the present scope of the book. The underlying rules and principles of all these established factors, however, are determined by the basic nature of man and woman. The man-woman relationship is beautiful and complex. It is crucial to observe and discuss relationships from every one of many possible angles. The emphasis on discovering different strategies & mechanisms involved in developing and maintain a relationship is the priority here.
